Le lucciole son tornate

Eccole, sono tornate.

The fireflies are back. At least at the place where we shot the video, in the hills of Piacenza. Since a couple of years every summer this performance repeats and it leaves us breathless. We sit in the dark, among the plants and quickly firefiles surround us. Follow the flashing light (bioluminescence, in technical terms) is almost hypnotic. Don’t ask why but you have to click twice to start the video.

Almeno nel luogo dove abbiamo girato il video. Da un paio di anni ogni estate si ripete questo spettacolo che ci lascia immancabilmente senza fiato. Ci sediamo nel buio della vegetazione e ci facciamo letteralmente circondare da loro. Seguirne l’intermittenza luminosa (Bioluminescenza, in termini tecnici) è quasi ipnotico. Non chiedeteci perché ma dovete cliccare due volte per far partire il video.
