On the right the new building realized by the architect Daniel Libeskind. He is the architect who will build the new World Trade Center in New York. Una vista dall'alto del museo. La forma a zigzag ricorda la stella di David spezzata. Sulla sinistra (1) la Torre dell'olocausto e più a destra (2) il Giardino dell'esilio ------------ An air view of the museum. The zigzag shape recolls a broken David's star. On the left the Holocaust Tower (1) and next to it ont he right the Garden of Exile (2) Le linee sono le protagoniste assoluto dell'architettura del museo. Presenti ovunque e in qualsiasi angolazione possono creare un senso di vertigine e disorientamento. ------------ Lines are present everywhere in the musem architetural, and they are forced at no common angle. To the observer this may cause a sense of confusing and vertigo. Ancora un esempio dell'intreccio di linee. ------------ Yet another example of crossing lines. Interno della Torre dell'Olocausto. Uno spazio di cemento vuoto, freddo, semibuio. Entrateci da solie restateci dopo che la pesante porta che si è chiusa alle vostre spalle ------------ Inside the Holocaust Tower a concrete, cold, empty almost dark space. Enter and stay there alone, after the heavy door closed behind you. Il Giardino dell'esilio. Anche qui la pendenza e gli stretti spazi tra le colonne di cemento possono creare un senso di disorientamento. All'interno di ciascuna colonna sta crescendo una quercia. 48 colonne contengono terra di Berlino, 1 terra di Israele. ------------ The Garden of Exile. The narrow space between the concrete pillars and the ground which slopes gives a sense of confusing. In each pillars is growing a wollow oaks. 48 pillars are filled with ground from Berlin, one with ground from Israel. Un altro spazio vuoto di cemento.
